The Pacific, 'Why not take this one into the recording studio?'
When James built the first maple and cedar Parlor, he had to build another just to see if it was an accident - the tone really surprised him. He felt compelled to make a model out of it. The tone is amazingly resonant, responsive and full for the size. Beautiful harmonics resound without being too overtone filled and the bass is rich but not boomy. A light fingerstyle or flatpick touch produces great volume.
We build the Pacific model in the two smaller size bodies - the Parlor and Grand Concert. The Grand Concert has partially scalloped braces, and the Parlor has a much different (lighter) bracing and does not need it.
The Pacific model includes beautiful AAA curly maple back and sides with a cedar top with matching curly maple peghead veneer. Beautiful dark curly koa bindings frame the body, peghead and fretboard. Our notched square MOP fretboard inlay pattern is standard
